What’s involved?

The Certificate IV in Hypnotherapy (VRQA 22088VIC), the only Victorian based Government-accredited course in Hypnotherapy, is a 20 day course comprising four Terms each of five days. You can take the course over 10 weekends (Feb-Dec) or as an Accelerated Course, comprising four five day blocks (Friday-Tuesday, Mar-Jun or Aug-Oct).

Diploma

For graduates of our Certificate IV course we also offer an advanced qualification, the Diploma in Hypnotherapy (VRQA 22090VIC), the only Government-accredited advanced Hypnotherapy course based in Victoria. This is also a 20 day course, delivered over 10 weekends during the year.

The Academy learning experience

All our lecturers are fully qualified and experienced practitioners in their own specialist fields, as well as being graduates of the Academy with their own Clinical Hypnotherapy practice.

We welcome students from all walks of life, and have prepared materials to be suitable for both non-professionals considering a career change and for professionals who use or would like to use Clinical Hypnotherapy to add a new dimension to their practice. We warmly welcome mature students and we are committed to ensuring that your return to study is enjoyable and productive. We provide all the help and support you need to participate fully as a student at the Academy.

The Course Program is structured to suit those working full-time or part-time, enabling you to progress at your own pace and within the demands of a busy lifestyle. The Course combines on-campus and off-campus study with review and practice during personal time.

There is a strong emphasis on hands-on practice, with demonstrations by lecturers and one-on-one work by students.

Note: Our flexible learning policy means that you can make up dates you can't make on your chosen course with dates on another.

Course Cost

The cost of the Certificate IV in Hypnotherapy is $7,323. This includes all books, manuals, DVDs and CDs: there are no hidden extras.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is how we acknowledge your previous learning, experience, skills and knowledge in relation to what we teach in our courses here at the Academy. Eligible RPL reduces the cost of the course and the hours you need to complete it. (Note that you are welcome to attend lectures free of charge for which you've been given RPL.) We need evidence of your prior learning before we can assess your RPL. Here's some documents you can provide:-

Hobbies/interests/special skills outside work

References/letters from previous employers/supervisors

Any other documentation that would show us the skills that you have.

Spread the Cost!

We offer a Payment Plan that enables you to spread the cost over the duration of your course at no additional charge.

Enrolment

A fully-returnable deposit of $500 is required to reserve your place on your chosen course.

Diploma

We also offer an Advanced Course, our Diploma in Hypnotherapy, the only Government-Accredited such course based in Victoria. Please note that this course is for advanced students, and is thus available only to graduates of our Certificate IV course or equivalent.

[Note: Academy Training Days begin at 9:00am and finish at 5:00pm. It is our policy that we do not require students to attend for more than eight hours in any one day and that classes are not scheduled outside the hours of 8:00am and 10:00pm.]
